Program Summary
The Warrior Project is a neuroaffirming framework for understanding autistic distress, emotional wellbeing, and self-understanding. This two-day training explores the intersection of sensory processing, communication, identity, autonomy, nervous system safety, and social experiences within autistic wellbeing.
Participants will learn practical strategies for supporting regulation, reducing distress, and fostering authentic wellbeing using collaborative, strengths-based approaches.
Key Learning Outcomes
Participants will:
- Understand the underlying contributors to autistic distress.
- Explore the relationship between sensory processing, autonomy, and wellbeing.
- Recognise the impact of masking, misunderstanding, and nervous system stress.
- Learn practical regulation and support strategies.
- Develop strengths-based and low-demand approaches to wellbeing support.
