Program Summary
This workshop introduces participants to autistic catatonia, including presentation, contributing factors, early signs, and support considerations. The session explores the intersection of burnout, overwhelm, stress, trauma, movement differences, and nervous system shutdown within autistic experiences.
Participants will develop a deeper understanding of how catatonia may present across different support settings and how neuroaffirming, low-demand approaches can reduce risk and improve safety.
