Program Summary
Autistic people often communicate connection in ways that are subtle, indirect, sensory-based, or easily overlooked. This workshop explores the concept of silent bids for connection and how autistic communication can differ from socially normative expectations.
Participants will learn how to identify low-demand connection attempts and develop more responsive and affirming ways of recognising and responding to them.
