The Little Black Duck uses an automated booking system to make booking an appointment as simple as possible

Our appointments have the option of being conducted via zoom, face to face, or over the phone. Please indicate your preference when booking

The Little Black Duck takes appointments via square’s appointment booking service. It is a simple-to-use system requiring your email address and phone number. There are 4 appointment options:

  • In person – A face to face appointment at our office
  • Zoom – An online appointment via zoom
  • Phone Call – An appointment over the phone
  • Quick Chat – A free 15 min phone call to assess if our service will work for you

Service Agreement for Online Bookings

When booking an appointment online you are agreeing to the terms of service outlined in this service agreement

Invoicing for Appointments Booked Online

The Business will invoice the Client after completion of scheduled appointment, unless otherwise noted in the Payment schedule. The Client agrees to pay invoice(s) by the due date(s) specified. Unpaid or overdue invoices may result in further, legal actions.

Appointment Cancellations and Rescheduling – Our Obligations to you

We believe that your time is just as valuable as ours. If an unforeseen event occurs on our end we also have a reverse cancellation policy.
In the event that we need to cancel or reschedule an appointment with you with less than 12 hours notice then your next appointment with us is free. If we need to cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice then your next appointment is only charged at 50% of the appointment fee.
If we are more than 15mins late for your appointment then your following appointment will be only charged at 50% of the appointment fee

Appointment Cancellations and Rescheduling – Your Obligation

Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be equal to 50% of the appointment fee. Cancellations made with less than 12 hours notice will incur the full service fee.
If you are more than 30 minutes late for your service, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, the same cancellation fee will apply. We will do our very best to reschedule your service for another time that is convenient to you.
Missed appointments will incur the full service fee and will be invoiced at the end of the appointed time

Payment methods

Payment will be made to the Business via cash, cheque, an approved payment card, or by any other payment method that is accepted by the Business.

Consumer Guarantees

(a) Nothing in this Agreement is intended to exclude, restrict or modify the rights which either of the parties may have under the Australian Consumer Law. (b) A failure to comply with the Consumer Guarantee provisions under the Australian Consumer Law to the extent they apply to this Agreement, the Business’ liability is limited to (at its election):
(i) in the case of a supply of goods: (A) replacing the goods or supplying equivalent goods; (B) repairing the goods; (C) paying the cost of replacing the goods or acquiring equivalent goods; or (D) paying the cost of having the goods repaired; and
(ii) in the case of a supply of services: (A) resupplying the services or (B) paying the cost of having the services supplied again.Clone & edit

Licensing

The Business promises that it holds all licenses necessary to perform the work, that such licenses are valid and effective as of the date any work is performed or services provided, and that all work performed or services provided will be done in compliance with all applicable federal and state , or local laws and regulations.Clone & edit

Authority to sign

Each party has the authority to enter into this Contract and to perform all of its obligations under this Contract.Clone & edit

Client will review work

The Client promises to review the work product, to be reasonably available to the Business if the Business has questions regarding this project, and to provide timely feedback and decisions.

Modifications

The Client and the Business must agree to any changes to this contract in writing.

Refunds

If you are not completely satisfied with the work completed or services provided, you can contact us within 14 and we will issue you a refund for up to 80% of your original purchase

Termination of contract

The Contract ends on [contract end date] unless one of the parties ends the contract before that time. If one of the parties chooses to end the Contract prior to Project completion, the Client is responsible for paying for all work and costs incurred up until that date.
